Ginger Teas


Hot Ginger Tea

Ingredients

  • Small piece of fresh ginger (about a quarter size)
  • Sugar or sweetener of choice (without is very good also)
  • 1/2 teaspoon leaf tea (optional)

Begin by peeling and grating the ginger. Place a tea ball or tea strainer in a cup. If you are using tea, add it at this point. Pour boiling water in cup and allow this to steep for 2 to 4 minutes. This last step mentioned depends on how strong you want it. Any type of sweetener may be added. The ginger can be used over to make more cups.
Note: if you don't have a grater, just peel ginger and add to cup.
